I signed up for the full program at…
My wife and I went to The Persian Room today. This is sort of a belated Valentine's Day. Both of had agreed to postpone the Valentine's dinner from Thursday to Saturday. Both of us work nearly 12 hours a day at our jobs.

We went to the Persian Room 02/16/2013 to find it quite busy. Thank goodness we had a reservation. We would have been waiting some time otherwise.

We ordered the following:

Torshi (kind of a pickled vegetable salad with wine vinegar)
Hommus with Eggplant delight (a dip)

Lamb and chicken combination dinner (for 2)...included koubideh

The torshi was good, but found it a bit sour.

Hommus was very good.

The lamb and chicken combination was very good and very heavy. My wife and I were able to bring a lot of it home simply because we were not able to finish it. The portion size was pretty big.

We really enjoyed the food. The inside of the restaurant looks like it is classy. We have eaten at a lot of restaurants that specialize in Middle Eastern cuisine. This is definitely one of them that ranks as the most classy. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Also look at the Caspian Market next door.

I have been to this Burger King on…
In our opinion, you should avoid this fast food stop at all costs! Horrible service! Our hamburger with mustard and pickles only had to be remade twice. How hard is it to take an order and make it as requested, not once, but twice!

That's not all, we requested Apple Fries and got an Apple Pie, I can understand the mistake, but when the manager and assistant manager don't care enough about customer service, both saw our issue with the burger remakes, and didn't make an effort to take care of us.

If this wasn't enough, we were over charged for the Apple Pie and come to find out we were charged for a cheese-burger. I know, I know, not a ton of cash, but it was my cash and with the absolute disregard for customer service, the Burger King in Gila Bend Arizona ranks among the top 10 worst experiences in our many fast food stops.

Stay away, enjoy the Mickey D's down the road, anything but stop here! It deserves less than a star on multiple levels.

Aok because they carry the basics. 3 stars…
I'm not a big beer drinker, but I do like a good one. When I want to order a cold one, I ask my son to choose one he thinks I would like. He chose well this time. I had the Blueberry Blonde Ale and enjoyed it very much. When we're in Phoenix again, we'll be back, probably. Good selection and made on the other side of the bar wall.
